Implement company programs and manage the operations of the Restaurant, Room Service and any other food and beverage outlets as required to ensure compliance with SOPs and LSOPs, safety regulations and federal, state and local regulations to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality are provided to the guest(s).
Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on the various outlet budgets and their components (labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc.) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with sales, hotel departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases.
Conducts hotel site inspections and client presentations.
Create contracts and other related booking documentation as required. Manage and maintain client account files.Builds and maintains strong client relationships.
Detail events to include all food & beverage, set up and audiovisual needs. Ask appropriate questions of the clients and make suggestions to ensure the details meet the group and the hotel’s needs.
Create group resumes and communicate client needs to all departments of the hotel. Ensure hotel staff follows through on all requests.
Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Working with local wineries to create tasting events and manager receptions.
Acts as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process. Makes presence known to customer at all times during this process. Is available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.
Proactively identifies operational challenges associated with his/her event and works with the hotel staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.
Manages banquet and meeting space for assigned groups including set up and tear down
Advises sales staff as to ability to accommodate client demands including phone requirements, fit of available space and materials such as booths. Assist sales staff in promoting hotel, developing leads and securing re-bookings.
Access and input data into a computer system to generate account history reports using our Property management system and Sales Program Delphi.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
