ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Answer Housekeeping phones. 
  • Expedite guest, department, front office, and engineering requests to appropriate areas.  Update suite status on computer
  • Open Housekeeping: by checking guest suite inventory, assign rooms to Suite Attendants. Clearing suites to ensure Front Office has Vacant Ready Suites.
  • Type, file, and perform all other assigned duties

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Assist Suite Attendants and Houseperson’s in securing all supplies and tools necessary or the completion of their jobs as need arises.
  • Report all suspicious persons or actions, hazardous conditions, etc. to Security Department.
  • Provide instruction and/or guidance for guests and Team Members safety in fire or other emergency situation.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate a computer.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other departments.
  • Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to housekeeping Pointe People.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, and meet deadlines

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English.  Self-starting personality with an even disposition.   Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.  Can communicate well with guests.  Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.  Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.  Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 15 lbs.  Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.
