Summary: Responsible for the opening and implementation and execution of strategies for sales, partnerships, and social marketing for a new build residence resort in the heart of Daytona Beach Shores Florida.  These responsibilities to achieve budgeted revenues for all areas of the resort and all revenue generating outlets by creating awareness, partnerships, and visibility.  The resort is positioned as a boutique  luxury/lifestyle resort and this message will continue through robust branding and social activity and activations.  Responsible for all areas of sales, social marketing and partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Experience in the Daytona market with strong connections and immediate outreach opportunities
  • Experience with Lifestyle properties
  • Skilled in the creation and deployment of sales & social strategies
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and 3 years of social marketing within the travel industry
  • Working within associated budgets and intended RPI metrics on proposed spend
  • Development of strategy and execution of sales strategies for leisure business, event driven, group and social event business
  • Development of strategies and execution of social media campaigns across all relevant channels
  • Develop new partnership marketing opportunities for increased exposure and guest experiences
  • Creation of experientially driven programming and activations based on target demographics
  • Ability to positively collaborate with associated team members, ownership, and 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to assertively manage and measure the performance of 3rd party vendors such as (but not limited to) public relations firms, social media agencies, branding firms, digital providers, etc.
  • Maintain the brand voice and pillars according to established brand standards
  • Analyze and apply market research to topline centric marketing initiatives
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in achieving annualized budget targets and driving above fair share of market share among the designated competitive set
  • Maintenance of visual assets (still and video)
  • Ability to review STR reports and budgets and act upon data discovered
  • Produce and generate opportunities for merchandising sales.
  • Develop direct mail and resort collateral to include all multi-media, audio, visual and print components.
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift, weekends, holidays

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree (hotel marketing preferred).  Five  years’ experience in sales, 3 years in social marketing within the travel industry space.

Language Skills: Exceptional written, verbal and in person skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communications skills, exceptional organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to spend 50% of working day sitting and other 50% standing or walking. Must be able to walk entire length of property for site inspections. Ability to read a computer screen from a distance of 1-3 feet. The employee is required regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. Must present self in a mature professional manner.

MAX Daytona Condominiums has now become MAX Daytona Beach Resort, a custom-built independent luxury hotel, opening beachside in Daytona Beach Shores, January 2022.

MAX Daytona Beach Resort will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom modern guest suites from 900 to 2,000 sf, each with fully equipped kitchens and oversized private terraces.

Guests will be able to begin booking their hotel stay for 2022 at the end of this year.
