Responsibilities:  Assist Engineers and Engineering Management in obtaining guest satisfaction and engineering goals by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to engineering, guest and hotel communications. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding maintenance, hotel information, and guest concerns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with payroll
  • Assisting with project coordination and management
  • Assisting with ordering
  • Assisting with creating schedule
  • Assisting with inventory organization and management
  • Answer phones and ensuring all inquiries are dealt with accurately, timely and in a professional manner (within the same business day or by 10am the next business day).
  • Type correspondence, reports and forms as well as prepare simple written correspondence.
  • Assist with reception duties: greeting concerned associates and directing to appropriate manager if necessary.
  • Professional and positive communication to both guests and fellow associates
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Familiar with Birchstreet purchasing system or ability to learn
  • Track preventative maintenance and other requests
  • Accounting skills; multi-tasking
  • Monthly closing of all accounts
  • Track budget and reforecast expenses weekly; ProfitSage

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Should possess the ability to smile and make others feel welcome in the hospitality industry.
  • Provides assistance to other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel.
