Looking for a great HR Internship in 2022?  Then join the Human Resources team at beautiful Horseshoe Bay Resort!

Definition:  The HR Intern will assist the HR department with various daily office tasks as assigned to include assembling and auditing Associate files and folders, answering phones, greeting guests to the HR department, and assisting job applicants with application process, as well as special projects as assigned.

Internship Specific Requirements:

  • Will assist management on special projects throughout course of internship
  • May rotate through multiple areas
  • Mid-term and Final evaluations to be completed by manager
  • Spring or Summer Semester
  • Must be enrolled in college level coursework in related field

General Duties:

Assist with daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a personal computer, printers, copiers, fax machines, Internet and email.

  • May assist recruitment/hiring team with research and postings on various social media platforms.
  • Create name tags, and start employee file.
  • Provide support in functional areas of human resources department, to include recruitment and employment, and personnel records.
  • Locate and retrieve records as requested.
  • Respond to basic inquiries, route calls, record messages.
  • Assist applicants in completing the on-line Crescent job application.

Employment Standards:

  • High school diploma; or GED and pursuing college degree
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures in HR.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information, required.
  • Present a professional appearance and positive company image.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Moderate lifting and carrying, 15-25 pounds
  • Able to bend stoop, reach and stretch repetitively
  • Must have normal vision with corrective lens
  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Walk as a daily routine
  • Communicate effectively with general public
