Grill Staff/Servers will courteously prepare and/or serve menu items as requested by members. They will maintain cleanliness in the cooking areas and indoor/outdoor dining areas, as well as stock and prepare food items.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Grill Staff will courteously prepare menu items as requested by members. They will maintain cleanliness in the cooking area, as well as stock, prepare food items.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- To provide excellent service to our members and guests, preparing menu items as requested.
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform and ready to work.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests and members.
- Collect proper payment information for each item sold.
- Stock and prepare for expected business each day.
- Clean work area before leaving each day - vacuum, sweep, mop, dishes & all counter tops.
- Must be able to communicate and disseminate information accurately, either written or verbally, with the general public or associates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grill staff requires kitchen experience.
- Experience providing the highest level of prompt and courteous service.
- Neat in appearance and well groomed.
- Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel.

Every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.

Work Habits:
In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.
Safety & Security:
The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.

* $2000 Hiring Bonus will be paid to hourly, non-management new hires who accept an offer of employment by May 31, 2022. The first $1000 will be paid when the associate reaches 90 days employment. The remaining $1000 will be paid when the associate reaches 180 days employment.
