Mayfair House Hotel & Garden
Main Duties:
- Familiar with all classic cocktail recipes
- Knowledgeable about all product behind the bar as will be proven via weekly verbal tests given by multiple management
- Mix ingredients according to how drink recipes and standards call for as set by bar manager.
- Ensure Mayfair Grill/Mayfair House service standards and ethos are maintained at all times
- Implement policies and systems as required under the guidance of the management
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and necessary trainings.
- Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow correct procedure when situations arise
- Handle work related problems and resolve them in a positive and professional way
- Has knowledge on how to build and construct cocktails.
- Properly use bar tools, keep clean and organized.
- Pour spirit, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic accurately – and with accordance to mandated glassware.
- Collect payment and operate POS
- Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Determine when a customer been over-served and handle in a graceful and humbled way.
- Oversee set-up and break down of bar working spaces are accurately executed in accordance to standards set by bar manager.
- Oversee that the current bar set-up for bottles and any display are accurately being executed in accordance to standards set by bar manager.
- Serve customers with a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude
- Handle and move objects, such as glasses and bottles, using hands and arms
- Perform physical activities such as lifting, stooping, and moving
- Be present for all bar/staff trainings scheduled
- Show up to shift on time and ready to work
- Follow Mayfair Grill & Mayfair House grooming standards
- Perform all duties with no complaints from themselves or their co-workers
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
