JOB OVERVIEW:

Looking for a highly energetic senior sales individual that will have the opportunity to be part of a multi-million-dollar transformation and repositioning into the luxury lifestyle hotel.  Applicants must possess at least 4 years of Hotel Sales and Service experience with clients that match our strategies and future targets in the luxury space.

Execute solid business development strategies, target new group & catering, business travel markets to include but not limited to trending vertical luxury buyers, i.e. This position with not only manage accounts to achieve all stakeholder’s revenue goals but will prospect on a consistent basis to new client engagement and new business development to ensure all revenue goals are achieved.

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales & Marketing 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Experience among luxury hospitality repositioning projects is preferred
  2. Skilled in the creation and deployment of complex luxury hotel launch plans. Lifestyle, luxury, or global brand experience
  3. Prepares Sales Reports and contribute into annual Sales & Marketing Plan
  4. Create effective Sales Programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the Hotel, its activities, culinary services, and personnel
  5. Knowledge of travel industry, current market trends and economic factors
  6. Assist and lead along with the Director of Sales & Marketing in preparation of the sales plans, programs, and annual budget
  7. Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management
  8. Ability to review STR reports and budgets and act upon data discovered
  9. Knowledge of the local airport comp set market, knowledge of Delphi FDC and Hotelligence.
  10. Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations
  11. Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
  12. Manage all group and business travel sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel
  13. Ability to access, understand and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned
  15. Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Must always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact. Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order tosolicit business, meet client needs and resolve complaints. Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections
