The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing operations by creating, compiling, formatting, and reporting relevant marketing information and materials. Our Marketing department and Horseshoe Bay Resort have been awarded for their excellence in Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations efforts. Come join us! 


  • Assists with administration and departmental accounting procedures  
  • Assists with web, social media, publication, and creative department and development.  
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the creative department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipts. 
  • Works and coordinates signature events, on-site events 
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. 
  • Assembles consumer rating reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations. 
  • Supports sales presentations by assembling customer feedback, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration, and product capability booklets; compiling account and competitor analyses. 
  • Prepares menus, mailers, brochures by formatting content and graphics 
  • Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory. 
  • Acts a liaison with third-party advertising and public relation agencies. 
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data. 
  • Researches competitive properties by identifying and evaluating characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience 
  • 1-2 years experience and training in a similar position in the hotel/resort/guest service industry, marketing, or related field, preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop) 


  • Strong knowledge of current social media platforms 
  • Excellent language, spelling, writing, editing, proofreading skills, telephone etiquette, and written communication skills 
  • Photography and video production background is a plus 
  • Event planning background preferred 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow. 
  • Ability to write and edit copy that adheres to brand standards in style and tone for collateral, advertorial, and online media. 
  • Discretion and confidentiality are extremely important. 

Language Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
  • Ability to write and edit copy that adheres to brand standards in style and tone for collateral, advertorial and online media.
  • Discretion and confidentiality is extremely important.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Should be very accurate and organized.

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures.
