WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Reservations Coordinator help guests find the right accommodations to fit their needs by taking incoming calls and completing a daily checklist to ensure that all reservation inquiries and projects are completed.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Manage telephone, fax, and email inquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel. Using the reservations system, process reservations from the Sales Department, Reservations Centers, Email, and Wholesalers
  • Coordinate upsell requests with guests and hotel to ensure ADR maximization
  • Review the Daily Arrivals report and block requests accordingly
  • Complete a daily checklist that includes reviewing: commissions, routing, deposits/authorizations, VIP arrivals, upsell requests, and more

ABOUT YOU

  • Must be available for the day shifts ranging between the hours of 7 am-5 pm on weekdays and weekends
  • Ability to communicate professionally and tactfully in English, both written and verbal
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience with using telephone and basic computer functions, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and OPERA experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work at a desk for long periods of time required

For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $27 to $30 per hour. The wage offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states
