Basic Function

The perfect candidate is able to keep dishes and surrounding area clean and uncluttered.

Responsibilities

Cleans pots, pans, silver, china, utensils continuously to health code and safety standards.

Disposes of trash in proper receptacles.

Help to keep culinary work surfaces clean and disinfected including tables, floors, walls, and walk-in coolers.

Keep Loading Dock and storage areas clean and clear of clutter.

Places items in proper storage areas.

Maintains a positive and professional approach with all departments and customers.

Take verbal instruction from Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.

Requirements

Texas Food Handlers Certification a must.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Able to withstand heat and work quickly and efficiently.

Working Relationships

Reports to Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.

Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative working relationship with all resort departments.

In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
