We are seeking a dynamic Catering Sales Manager. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
We are currently looking for an experienced Front Desk Agent for The Marker Hotel in San Francisco. We believe our guests shouldn’t be the only ones wanting to keep on coming back – our team members should also! Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.
JOB OVERVIEW: Supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk staff to maximize revenues and profits while attaining optimal guest satisfaction.
JOB OVERVIEW: To insure staff of housekeeping department cleans and maintains guest rooms and public space in accordance with client/guest expectations and Crescent standards of product and service.
To answer telephone inquires in a friendly and courteous manner, employ sales techniques in order to secure and process reservations for guest accommodations in a timely manner consistent with Crescent's high standards of quality.
1. Direct and instruct the management staff in effective recruiting and interviewing techniques using methods such as verbal presentations and written directions to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified and efficient associates. Conduct interviews for all management positions.
