Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and serviceware. Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Ability to operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.
Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager, the Cashier employee works closely with the Bartender and Venue Supervisor to maintain member and guest relations. The Cashier is responsible for serving food & beverages and ringing up items.
Under the direct supervision of the Room Chef. This position entails using a wide array of cooking techniques to prepare food for enterprise guests, basic skill in meat and fish butchery, basic knowledge of preparation of stocks and sauces, placing stock in proper storage areas, cleaning and maintaining work areas and kitchens, and overall production for all Food & Beverage venues.
