Description

The Max Beach Resort is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer. This position will provide you with the venue to utilize all your expertise in property engineering, leadership, and preventative maintenance. This is a great opportunity to put your stamp on a property that is only two years old.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory management, department budgeting, safety controls, annual certifications/licenses
  • Provide the highest quality of service to your internal and external customer and guests.
  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support department associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established standards.
  • Test, examine, and maintain hotel’s life safety systems to ensure they are 100% operational at all times.
  • Provide accommodations that are safe for our guests and a work environment equally as safe for our associates.
  • Repairs and Routine Maintenance of all operating systems, experience working with warranties.
  • Organized with operating requirements, and preventative maintenance tracking.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to General Manager on concern areas.
  • And other duties as assigned. This is not to be considered a full job description.

Experience with HVAC, IT infrastructure, and Short-Term Vacation Rentals a plus. Pool maintenance experience/Certification required.

Local Applicants, or applicants familiar with beachfront structures greatly preferred.
