You will play a pivotal role in attracting and retaining business travelers, ensuring they experience the unique charm and sophistication of Mayfair House Hotel & Garden.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Craft and execute innovative sales plans to attract business transient guests, maximizing revenue and occupancy.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging presentations and site visits to showcase our exceptional facilities and services.
  • Contract Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and agreements with corporate clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to create seamless guest experiences and promotional campaigns.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within the business transient segment.
  • Strong network of corporate contacts and travel managers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, proper preparation and presentation of foods and beverage items. Ability to prepare signage for catering functions. Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 20 lbs. on an occasional basis. Ability to create special themes and menus. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
