We are currently seeking our next FinancialController to lead our Finance team.

Job Profile:

As our Controller, you will manage a variety of critical financial and administrative functions essential for the efficient operation of our financial systems. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, cash management, internal audit preparations, gratuity verification, and bank deposits. You will also handle additional accounting tasks as directed by the General Manager, including special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis.

In addition, you will address client and guest billing inquiries, assist with tax preparations, perform city ledger payment postings, oversee payroll administration and be part of our Joint Health and Safety committee. Your role will involve account reconciliations, follow-up billing, credit collection, and reporting on potential uncollectible accounts, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial operations.

• We are looking for someone with hotel experience in finance or accounting. Former Marriott hotel experience will be an asset.
• We welcome applicants with a degree in finance or accounting with 1 or 2 years of experience as a hotel financial controller.
• Experience in payroll would be seen as an asset.
• CPA / CFA not a requirement.
• We would appreciate candidates with flexible availability as per business demand.
