Provide massage treatments to hotel and local clients on an on-call basis at a contractor rate of $200/hour.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As an On-Call Casual Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) at The Josie Hotel, you will be working with our Spa and Wellness team to deliver exceptional massage therapy services to our guests, ensuring their experience is one of relaxation, rejuvenation, and healing. Your role will focus on providing professional therapeutic treatments tailored to the needs of each guest, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and cleanliness.

You are self-motivated, flexible, and able to adapt to the varying needs of an on-call schedule. You have excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and can work both independently and as part of a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Job Description:-

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to the needs and preferences of each guest, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
• Assess guests’ needs through consultation and recommend appropriate treatments based on their goals and health conditions.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Follow all protocols for cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing treatment areas and equipment between appointments.
• Ensure proper use and storage of linens, oils, and other supplies in accordance with spa guidelines.
• Comply with industry regulations and hotel policies regarding guest safety, hygiene, and confidentiality.
• Provide accurate and thorough documentation of guest treatments as required.
• Actively promote spa treatments, packages, and retail products to guests, enhancing their overall wellness experience.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of massage techniques, industry trends, and spa services.
• Assist in maintaining the spa’s calming and welcoming ambiance by ensuring all public and back-of-house areas are clean and well-stocked.
• Be available for flexible shifts based on guest demand, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally, escalating issues to spa leadership when necessary.
