As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the hotel’s appearance and ensuring that all public spaces reflect the cleanliness and warmth our guests expect. Your attention to detail and pride in presentation will help create a lasting first impression that represents the spirit of the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, meeting spaces, and outdoor areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all assigned spaces to uphold Crescent’s cleanliness standards.

• Ensure public restrooms are spotless and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

• Maintain entryways and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain free of debris and hazards.

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly.

• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors or engineering.

• Greet guests warmly, provide assistance when needed, and embody Crescent’s service culture.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Maintain the BBQ area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next day.

• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred; hotel experience a plus.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

• A friendly, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
