Typical responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate banquets, weddings, corporate events, and private functions
• Manage event timelines, menus, staffing, setup, and service
• Communicate with clients and handle special requests
• Coordinate with kitchen, service, sales, and operations teams
• Prepare event proposals, contracts, budgets, and invoices
• Supervise and train banquet staff
• Monitor food quality, presentation, service standards, and guest satisfaction
• Manage event costs, inventory, and labor
• Resolve guest concerns and unexpected issues during events
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards
