Description
Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Corporate Payroll Administrator to join the team. This role will coordinate and participate in payroll processing activities; participate in the preparation, maintenance, analysis, and auditing of manual and automated payroll data, information, records, and reports; ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll transactions; lead, train and provide work direction and guidance to property contacts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Process the payroll for assigned pay groups from start to finish
- Oversee and participate in the review, verification, auditing and processing of payroll forms, records, and documents.
- Reconcile all payrolls that were processed.
- Review time records and work with the property to correct inaccuracies.
- Ensuring wage and salary calculations are correct.
- Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and associate data.
- Provide service and support to associates and property contacts related to payroll questions / issues.
- Research system issues (UKG Pro and Workforce Management) for payroll errors
- Audit assigned payrolls.
- Stay current on state and federal payroll and tax laws.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role is required.
- Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations and employment tax laws.
- Must have multistate payroll experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience using UltiPro preferred.
- Prior experience working in hospitality preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly using Excel.
- Get it done attitude with willingness to work long hours if unexpected projects or tight deadlines require it.
- Adaptable in a constantly changing environment, organized and able to handle pressure well.
- Ability to multi-task, conduct research and generate online strategies.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer orientation, sense of urgency in getting things done, and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to handle confidential material.
- Highly detailed and results oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- FPC or CPP Certification is a plus.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
