The iconic Elysée New York is seeking an experienced Sales Manager. This is a rare opportunity for a proven candidate to shape the re-emergence of a luxury landmark hotel, blending operational excellence with world-class guest experiences. The Sales Manager will support the business plan with effective strategies through direct sales, digital marketing and revenue management. This person will ensure effective internal and external communications with clients, potential customers, and ownership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase room revenue, group bookings, and event sales
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate, group, and entertainment business
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular communication and site visits
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, rates, and proposals in line with hotel policies
  • Conduct hotel tours for prospective clients and event planners
  • Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to align sales efforts
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as required
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM and PMS system

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 2 years prior Hotels sales experience is required
  • Proficiency in sales systems (Delphi), hotel PMS, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of local NYC market dynamics and hospitality trends
  • Self-starter, Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • BA in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
