Description

Horseshoe Bay Resort Jet Center is looking for a Concierge Supervisor to guide the team through another busy season! This position requires a people person who's highly-motivated to deliver the highest standards of Member, guest and customer service for the Resort Jet Center. FBO Concierge Supervisor leads the front of the house and Concierge team. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory par levels for daily usage and training technicians. An eye for detail, a drive to exceed customer expectations and the ability to think critically and resolve problems are essential qualities for this work.

Definition:

FBO Concierge Supervisor leads the front of the house and Concierge team. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory par levels for daily usage and training technicians. An eye for detail, a drive to exceed customer expectations and the ability to think critically and resolve problems are essential qualities for this work.

General Duties:

  • Maintains fuel inventory, bulk fuel ordering and daily inventory monitoring in both storage tanks and re-fueler’s while ensuring quality control measures are met
  • Maintain additional inventory levels including:
    • oils, additives, aircraft/vehicle detail supplies
    • housekeeping supplies
    • employee personal protective equipment
  • Manages associate schedules and ensures adequate shift coverage
  • Able to open fixed based operation and perform all morning duties
  • Proficient at all fixed based operation standard operating procedures and check list items
  • Complete service sales tickets and process credit card and member account sales transactions.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts to the satisfaction of the customer and benefit of the FBO whenever possible.
  • Create arrival and departure reservations in an electronic calendar or other software that may be made available.
  • Maintain professional demeanor in high stress situations and busy times.
  • Evaluate and reprioritize tasks to ensure all customer and enterprise demands are met in a timely fashion.
  • Attend/Conduct all departmental meetings as necessary.
  • Guides aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals with wands
  • Place “Welcome Mat” at arriving/departing aircraft
  • Communicates with supervisors and customer service representatives via portable radios
  • Assists in providing aircraft with ice, coffee, catering, newspapers and other necessary services
  • Assist department Director and Assistant Manager with projects as required.
  • Perform data entry as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

Employment Standards:

  • Current valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR for insurance purposes
  • Proficient at daily close-out paperwork, clerical and tracking skills.
  • Previous customer service or experience and ability to work well with customers, line service and other resort Associates in person and over the phone.
  • Communicate and disseminate information accurately.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to take pride and ownership of the work environment.
  • Excellent language, spelling, writing, editing and proofreading skills and telephone etiquette.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web browser; email; fax and copier machines.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or related area, required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Always follow all Resort rules and policies

Working Conditions/Environment:

  • Majority of the work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions common to Texas.
  • Exposure to maintenance equipment; including but not limited to moving parts, heights, noise, airborne debris, vibration and fumes.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
  • Must be able to reach top drawer of four-drawer cabinet or stoop to bottom one.
  • Must have neat and clean overall appearance.
  • Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is enclosed toe and heel.
  • Walk and sit as a daily routine.
  • Ascend/descend stairs as a daily routine.
  • Comprehend reading materials, speak, read and write English
  • Must be able to interact with co-workers and have a sense of TEAM.
