Compensation: $80,000 per year

Reports to: Director of Sales

Pay Range: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00

Age requirement: 18+

Education or Formal Training:

-High school diploma or GED a must

-Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Hotel Sales

Additional Qualifications:

-Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

-Prospecting, Sales and closing skills

-Customer service oriented

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

-Move throughout property to conduct site inspections.

- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.

-Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.

-Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.

-Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.

-Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition.

-Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.

-Represent hotel at trade shows.

-Set up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting and reaching overhead.

-Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear directions to staff.

-Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

-Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

-Assist team in a variety of activities as deemed necessary

-Attend departmental meetings, operation meetings when necessary, and hotel staff meetings

-Participate in hotel initiatives

-Site Tours

-Departmental projects as needed.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

Some bending, reaching, pushing and pulling are required up to 20lbs.

May be at computer and desk for long periods of time. Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
