As a Group Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential partners.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to effectively manage resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field, preferred but not required, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
