Your Role
We are currently seeking a Membership Representative to join our team and contribute to the success of the Los Angeles Athletic Club by creating positive experiences for every member and guest who visits the club by cultivating relationships with existing members to facilitate overall membership growth. The role serves as sales representative and as member relations ambassador with specific goals in each area. Success is defined by financial targets and by member satisfaction factors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as the “first point of contact” for all new member inquiries.
- Ensure minimum response standards are achieved
- Ascertain and maintain key data points on all inquiries
- Participate in ongoing development of sales strategies and practices
- Adhere to determined sales strategies and practices
- Serves as the “second point of contact” for all existing member complaints
- All complaints are routed from first point of contact to the Member Associate
- Ensure minimum response standards are achieved
- Ascertain and maintain key data points on all inquiries
- Participate in ongoing development of member service resolutions
- Follow all complaints through to satisfaction.
- Ensure all key membership data points are maintained and periodic inquiry made
- Serves as initial contact to notify members of past due balances and assisting them with collecting payment
- Adhere to an authentic and professional rules of conduct
- Serve as role model for service and member care
- Active social media plan supporting each revenue center
- Additional revenue strategies and actions as determined
- Effectively communicate in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with policies established guidelines including but not limited to accounting, employee experience, member experience and affiliated third parties.
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly responsibilities.
- All complaints are routed from first point of contact to the Member Associate
EDUCATION, LIENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Required: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in same or similar positions in the Retail, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage industry
- Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Required: Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Required: Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
- Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Required: Computer Experience: proficient Microsoft Office programs, Outlook
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
- Required: Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.
- Required: Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision
- Required: Strong analytical skills.

Compensation: Hourly $26.00 USD + Commission and Bonuses (up to a $100,000 opportunity per year)
