General Duties:
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas at Summit Rock Clubhouse Facilities and reporting any engineering problems to their manager. During times of high occupancy and heavy traffic this associate must be able to maintain the cleanliness and stocking of all areas as quietly and discreetly as possible so as not to disturb any guest or members. The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests as well as maintaining the clubhouse’s public spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of all restrooms, lobbies, public hallways, dressing areas/locker rooms, public areas of Restaurant/Bar, Pro shops, and game/card rooms. This includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of designated office areas.
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests by being attentive, courteous, and proactive. Address any immediate needs or requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Regularly check and clean restrooms to maintain high standards of hygiene, ensuring that restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and décor are in excellent condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Keep all entry ways clean, inside and outside.
- Assist with other public areas as needed.
- Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed. Be continually alert for the safety of associates, Members and guests.
- Work cooperatively with other departments.
- Help with supply and inventory control by monitoring and maintaining cleaning supplies, ensuring that the necessary stock is always available.
Employment Standards:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel.
Be able to speak and understand the English language.
Must keep a high standard of confidentiality.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system or tablet.
Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience in high-end or exclusive environments, such as luxury hotels, clubs, or resorts preferred.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
Be able to walk, stand, squat, bend, stretch and climb stairs.
Must be organized.
Must be punctual, self-motivated and able to follow instructions while working independently.
Must be able to interact with co-workers and customers and have a sense of TEAM.
