Job Overview
Direct the complete spectrum of human resources activities, from recruiting to retention, wage and benefit administration, and compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations. This role demands a keen negotiator familiar with the nuances of labor relations in a unionized environment. With a starting salary of $90K, this position reports directly to the General Manager and offers a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead recruiting efforts to ensure the hiring of competent team members and manage compliance with our established hiring practices.
- Perform annual wage surveys and ensure adherence to relevant wage and hour laws.
- Administer all required training programs and support managers in team member development.
- Oversee performance evaluations, ensuring timely and fair merit increases.
- Promote and enforce Crescent’s safety and health standards across all departments.
- Handle benefits coordination, FMLA processes, and the accurate processing of payroll.
- Champion positive employee relations and manage all aspects of labor relations, including contract negotiations and grievance resolutions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior HR role with a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. Advanced certifications like SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Strong expertise in employment laws and labor relations mandatory.
- Experience with UKG/UltiPro systems is a plus.
- Proven payroll processing capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
