ESSENTIAL JOB OVERVIEW

1. Greet customers when they enter the Golf Shop, and offer assistance in locating merchandise, and respond to questions regarding merchandise.

2. Display merchandise in a neat, eye-appealing manner.

3. Restock items as necessary, check expiration dates, and discard expired items.

4. Keep the storeroom neat and clean.

5. Complete customer purchases, process all payment types, and process returns, refunds, and exchanges.

6. Verify customer identification as required.

7. Maintain appropriate cash levels in cash drawer, turn in all property monies and receipts, and ensure deposits/cash drops are verified.

8. Follow checklist for opening and closing Golf Shop.

9. Secure shop and monitor customer activity to prevent losses due to merchandise theft and damage.

10. Count and verify merchandise orders upon receipt and document any shortages.

11. Place orders for store merchandise and approve invoices, including communicating with manager/supervisor as needed.

12. Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.

13. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

14. Regular and reliable attendance.

15. Performs other duties as required.

16. Book tee times for guests and members using tee sheet software.

17. Ensuring accurate tracking of golf rounds played on a daily basis.

18. Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

19. Passing the MVR is mandatory (no accidents or tickets for the past three years).

20. Ability to work flexible hours
