Range Hand Horseshoe Bay Sporting Club

Join the Flock at Horseshoe Bay’s Premier Sporting Destination

Picture this: crisp Hill Country mornings, the distant crack of clay targets breaking against a wide Texas sky, and a job where no two days are ever quite the same. Welcome to the Horseshoe Bay Sporting Club, tucked into the rolling hills above Lake LBJ, where we’re looking for a sharp-eyed, hands-on Range Hand to help keep our world-class clays course running like a well-oiled shotgun.

Horseshoe Bay Resort isn’t just a place to work — it’s a Hill Country institution. With three championship golf courses, a private yacht club, and one of the most respected sporting clays courses in the state, this resort has been turning visitors into regulars for over 50 years. And Horseshoe Bay, Texas? It’s the kind of town where the lake sparkles turquoise, the sunsets look painted on, and “going to work” might mean driving past longhorns and live oaks on your way in.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting and resetting clay targets with precision and pride
• Maintaining range equipment, throwers, and stations so every shot counts
• Assisting members and guests with a friendly, can-do attitude
• Keeping the grounds polished, safe, and ready for action
• Being the go-to teammate who keeps the range humming all day long

What You Bring

• A love of the outdoors and a strong work ethic
• Comfort working around firearms, machinery, and range equipment
• A team-first mindset with a sharp attention to detail
• Reliability — because our members count on us, rain or shine
• Prior range, ranch, or outdoor recreation experience is a plus, but heart and hustle matter more

Why You’ll Love It Here
