Marketing Account Coordinator
Location: Horseshoe Bay Resort, Horseshoe Bay, TX
The Opportunity
Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Account Coordinator to serve as the primary marketing liaison for assigned resort departments. This role is responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives, managing campaign execution, supporting public relations and influencer activities, and developing content that advances the resort's luxury brand and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with multiple stakeholders. This position plays a key role in planning, implementing, and tracking marketing campaigns across digital and print channels while ensuring all communications are delivered on brand and aligned with the exceptional guest experience Horseshoe Bay Resort is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Department Partnership
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned resort departments, including Food & Beverage, Golf, Racquet Sports, Marina, Spa, Activities, Human Resources, Resort Operations, Community Relations, and other business units.
- Build strong working relationships with department leaders to understand business goals and translate them into effective marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate planning meetings to gather content, review priorities, establish timelines, and evaluate campaign performance.
- Coordinate marketing requests and ensure projects are completed on schedule and aligned with brand standards.
- Coordinate project timelines, gather assets, and facilitate communication between departments to ensure initiatives are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor project status and communicate updates, timelines, and deliverable requirements to department stakeholders and marketing team members.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute campaigns and marketing deliverables.
Content Development & Creative Coordination
- Create compelling, brand-aligned content, including marketing copy, campaign messaging, website content, and promotional communications.
- Write, edit, and publish blog content that promotes resort experiences, seasonal offerings, dining, golf, recreational activities, and other marketing initiatives while maintaining the Horseshoe Bay Resort brand voice.
- Partner with the Creative Design team to develop marketing materials for:
- Resort website
- Mobile app
- Social media channels
- In-room guest television
- Seasonal activity guides
- Email campaigns
- Print and digital collateral
- Signage and promotional materials
- Assist in the creation, proofreading, and coordination of marketing materials and guest-facing communications.
- Maintain and organize marketing asset libraries, including photography, video, creative files, brand assets, and other digital resources.
- Assist with on-property photography and video productions by coordinating schedules, locations, talent, and production logistics.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, printers, agencies, and other vendors to support marketing initiatives.
Public Relations, Influencer & Media Coordination
- Coordinate all aspects of VIP, influencer, media, and social media guest visits, including accommodations, dining reservations, activity itineraries, welcome amenities, and on-property logistics.
- Prepare and distribute site alerts and visit itineraries to resort departments, communicating arrival details, key messaging, special requests, and guest preferences to ensure a seamless and consistent guest experience.
- Partner with public relations agencies, media representatives, influencers, and content creators to support brand awareness and resort exposure initiatives.
- Coordinate requests for resort information, photography, video assets, and other promotional materials.
- Support media visits, content creation opportunities, and promotional partnerships that elevate the resort's visibility and reputation.
Campaign Execution & Operations
- Support the planning, implementation, and tracking of marketing campaigns for assigned departments.
- Execute campaign timelines and ensure deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and in alignment with brand standards.
- Develop and maintain Proof of Performance (POP) presentations, sponsorship recap reports, and marketing performance decks that document campaign results, media coverage, deliverables, and key marketing metrics.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of resort events, media events, sponsorship activations, promotional experiences, and special marketing initiatives.
- Maintain inventory levels of branded and promotional materials across assigned departments.
- Participate as an active member of the Marketing team and contribute to departmental goals, projects, and special assignments.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- One to two years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, public relations, or a related field.
- Hospitality, resort, luxury brand, travel, tourism, or guest service experience preferred.
- Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
