Location: Horseshoe Bay, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards
  • Ensure proper food quality, portion control, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
  • Follow food safety and storage procedures, including proper rotation (FIFO)
  • Assist with prep work and ensure readiness for service
  • Communicate any food quality or inventory concerns to leadership
  • Support team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional culinary experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; culinary training a plus
  • Valid Food Handler Certification required (TABC certification as applicable)
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Basic communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism
  • Must wear slip-resistant, closed-toe footwear
