Flight Line Technician: Launch Your Aviation Career on Texas's Most Scenic Runway

Where the Runway Meets the Hill Country

On the shores of Lake LBJ, where private jets taxi against a backdrop of Texas Hill Country sunsets, Horseshoe Bay Resort’s Jet Center offers more than a job — it offers a runway to a career. As the gateway for owners, pilots, and travelers arriving at one of Texas’s most celebrated luxury destinations, our Flight Line Team is the first and last impression of the Horseshoe Bay experience. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in precision, safety, and Southern hospitality at 200 miles per hour.

The Opportunity

This is not just ramp work — it’s the launching pad for an aviation career built on craftsmanship, trust, and advancement. From marshaling aircraft to fueling with meticulous care, every task you perform keeps pilots safe and passengers impressed. With our Manager-in-Training Program, today’s technician can become tomorrow’s operations leader. Add in performance-based pay increases and certification bonuses, and you’ll find a career trajectory as smooth as a perfect landing.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely fuel fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft, upholding the highest fuel quality control standards.
  • Tow, position, and service aircraft using approved ground support equipment.
  • Marshal arrivals and departures with precision and professionalism.
  • Open and close FBO facilities according to established procedures.
  • Provide ground power, engine start assistance, and lavatory servicing.
  • Maintain a ramp environment that’s as polished as the aircraft it serves.
  • Deliver courteous, prompt communication with pilots, passengers, vendors, and teammates.

What You Bring

  • A minimum age of 21 and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • A polished, professional appearance that reflects resort standards.
  • Prior aviation or ramp experience is a plus — but a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Comfort working outdoors in the ever-changing Hill Country weather.
  • A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • The stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout your shift.
