Golf Operations Manager (Cap Rock)

Primary Objective: Manage daily operations for the Cap Rock Clubhouse (Golf Inc.’s 2021 Clubhouse of the Year), ensuring a "5-star" experience for members and their guests.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Pro Shop & Retail: Oversee all facets of the Cap Rock pro shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and point-of-sale operations.
  • Staff Leadership: Supervise Assistant Professionals, outside services staff, and starters to ensure consistent service standards.
  • Tournament & Event Execution: Coordinate play-days and specialized member events, serving as a primary liaison for groups at the Cap Rock site.
  • Facility Coordination: Act as the operational link between the golf staff and the Cap Rock Cabana (food and beverage) and Agronomy teams to ensure the 18th green and surrounding practice facilities are pristine.
  • Fiscal Oversight: Monitor the $73k-allocated budget, track rounds, and manage labor costs for the specific site.

Professional Qualifications

To align with the standards of a premier Texas Hill Country resort, the candidate must meet the following:

• Certification: Must be a Class A PGA Member or actively pursuing membership in the PGA PGM Associate Program.
• Experience: Previous management experience in a luxury resort or private club setting.
• Presence: A superlative professional image and the ability to interact effectively with a discerning membership base.
• Driving Requirements: Valid license with a clean record (21+ required to operate resort vehicles).
